Our first organized Testathon event
We want to share with you our experience of organizing and participating in our first Testathon event. What is a Testathon, you ask? Well, it’s a competition for software testers, where they get to test different apps and websites and find bugs. Testers compete in teams and are from different companies. The teams that find the most issues win interesting prizes. Sounds fun, right?
We decided to host a Testathon because we wanted to challenge ourselves and our fellow testers, as well as learn from each other and improve our skills. We also wanted to have some fun and network with other professionals in the field. We invited testers from different companies and had more than 23 attendees. A total 5 teams participated.
The event lasted throughout the day, during which the testers tested web and mobile Multibanking application. They could use different tools and methods to find and report as many bugs as possible.

We were amazed by the creativity and enthusiasm of the testers, who found hundreds of bugs. They also gave us valuable feedback, as well as suggestions on how to make the Testathon more engaging and rewarding. We learned a lot from their insights and perspectives, and we were impressed by their passion.
At the end of the event, we announced the winners and awarded them with prizes such as tickets for TESTING UNITED conference, headphones, vouchers and gift for everyone.
