Summer teambuilding: Mallorca – May 2019

Once a year, our trips focus on foreign teambuilding. We spent the summer of 2019 on the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean.

Yes, it was Mallorka. We lived in a beautiful private luxury villa with pool. We spent our free time relaxing on the beach. We also tasted real Spanish specialties and drove on electric motorcycles.

Moving/housewarming – April 2019

We went through moving out and then moving into new premises. We moved from Suché mýto, from the center of Bratislava to Ružinov, where we currently operate.

We said goodbye to the old premises at the last breakfast in February 2019. Subsequently, we moved to new premises and celebrated it accordingly. We had a gril party, which did not lack a good mood

Mallorca team building – 3 reasons to try it out

What team building activities do you usually do? We try different things. Some are smaller, some bigger. The latest one is our Mallorca trip. 14 of us got our hand luggage ready and left to this beautiful island for the weekend. This was already the second time similar team building happened in our young company and we would like to share few insights on what we have learnt from it.

In my new blog post, I would like to briefly discuss the main differences between manual testing and automation testing, along with the pros and cons for each approach. I really believe it can be beneficial for both junior testers to provide them with some insights as well as for test managers to help them make the right decisions on their projects. Obviously, we should not forget the client itself, the better educated client, the easier for us testers to deliver quality and results.

Testing United 2018, the first huge testing conference in Bratislava, Slovakia was an amazing adventure for us at KRONE Consulting. I remember exactly the moment Peter Svoboda, CEO of KRONE Consulting, brought out his vision of a testing conference in Bratislava. My first impression was – “this is quite a crazy idea”, but the more I thought about this challenge, the more I loved this idea and felt convinced by the importance of such an event in the Central Europe.

I would like to share today my thoughts and experience from the “Testing” conference Testing United Bratislava 2018.

Conference was organized by company KRONE Consulting and despite the fact it was KRONE’s first conference, my expectations were pretty high. Mainly because I had a chance to talk to the organizers before the conference during the preparation phase. Their plans, energy and several nice features were very promising and inspiring.

Nice summer days still have to be used enough. We decided to go play beach volleyball after work. So how did it turn out? Perfect as always. We also had a cold beer to refresh the warm summer afternoon.
